Vlad is Deputy Editor of ABS-CBN News Online, where he primarily directs coverage of the Manila theater scene, in addition to writing reviews. He has followed and written about the theater since the 1990s, initially for BusinessWorld and later on for Business Mirror, before joining his present publication in 2012.
Gibbs has been following the Manila theater scene since 1991. He began covering the industry in 2003 for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, reviewing shows and putting out an annual best-of-theater roundup starting in 2005. In 2012, he became editor of Inquirer’s newly launched weekly theater section, then the only one of its kind in a national broadsheet. Following a nearly four-year term as Inquirer’s Opinion Editor (2018–2022), he has since resumed his coverage of the theater scene, including his yearend roundup.
Christa is Associate Editor of Esquire Philippines. She started writing about the Manila theater scene in 2016 for SPOT.ph, before moving to her current position in 2024. She learned how to read, write, and watch plays in the academe: as a Malikhaing Pagsulat major at the University of the Philippines Diliman, an MFA Creative Writing student at De La Salle University, and a writing fellow for Virgin Labfest IX. Her play Huling Salita was presented as a staged reading at the Virgin Labfest in 2024.
Nikki is Editor-in-Chief of TheaterFansManila.com, a position she has held since 2018. She has been an arts and culture journalist and digital marketing professional for over 12 years, and joined TheaterFansManila.com in 2014.
Art has been watching theater all over the Philippines since 1971. He started writing public reviews on Facebook in 2014; was part of the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s roster of reviewers from 2016–2020; and contributed articles on the theater scene to the For the Record section of the academic journal Perspectives in the Arts and Humanities Asia, published by Ateneo de Manila University, from 2017–2021. By day, he works in corporate finance.
Emil has been writing about the Manila theater scene since 2017. His work has been published in TheaterFansManila.com, Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Diarist, CoverStory.ph, and Rogue Magazine. He is also a film critic, and has served as juror for the Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards (2018, 2019) and the Cinema One Originals Festival (2019), as well as editor and facilitator for the QCinema Critics Lab (2023, 2025).
Ricky has been following the theater scene since the 1980s, and has been writing about the performing arts and design for The Philippine Star since 2001. He is co-author of the book The Art of Window, Display and Design. As creative director, he has worked on TV commercials, videos, musical shows, advertising campaigns, and trade and tourism exhibits.
Chito has been a theater aficionado for the past four decades, and has been writing a weekly column on arts and culture for The Philippine Star since 2001. He is co-author of the book The Art of Window, Display and Design. As a designer, he has done fashion shows, interior design projects, and trade and tourism exhibits.
Vincen has been following the Manila theater scene since 2009. From 2012 to early 2025, he was a regular theater reviewer for the Philippine Daily Inquirer. Currently, he reviews mainly for The Diarist, and has also written for TheaterFansManila.com and The Daily Tribune. Beyond the theater, he is a medical anthropologist, licensed physician, and voting member of the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers.
